The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for maintaining, repairing and revising Holland Lift machines so that they remain in optimal technical condition. The FSE often does this at the customer, although repairs can be carried out at Holland Lift. You diagnose and fix the fault within the agreed time. You also ensure that parts, material, technical information, etc. are available so that the fault can be rectified efficiently. Further, you are responsible for the administrative booking in of hours worked, service work performed, parts used and other matters in the system, so that the correct invoice/confirmation is issued. Finally, you also help to build new machines when necessary.

The tasks and responsibilities of the FSE require a Dutch MBO / HBO-level vocational education or equivalent (a technical MBO qualification such as mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or electrical engineering) and relevant courses in hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical engineering. The position also requires a good command of written and spoken Dutch and English, including industry jargon. Other languages are an advantage.
