Purchasing a scissor lift is a good investment
Why is buying a scissor lift a good investment? For one thing, it means never having to deal with scaffolding, which saves a lot of time. And buying a Holland Lift scissor lift is a good idea because our machines are famous for their long service life, so you easily recoup your investment.
Other benefits of scissor lifts
Scissor lifts also offer much more flexibility than working with scaffolding. And because we pay extensive attention to safety and stability, you don’t have to worry about that either. Is the ground sloping, uneven or soft? Levelling jacks keep you flat and stable on every surface. Carrying tools is also no longer an issue: you just take them up with you on the work platform. It doesn’t get easier than this.
Define this? Is this something beyond erection/ dismantling benefits?
And what about telescopic, articulated and spider boom lifts?
Of course, a number of these advantages apply to other types of aerial work platforms, such as telescopic boom, articulated boom and spider boom lifts. But because a scissor lift goes straight up, it is often more stable. The extendable platform also offers more working space, and the load capacity of a scissor lift is also greater. Some of our models have a maximum load of up to 1000 kg at a working height of 33.5 meters. Of course, we are a bit biased, but as far as we are concerned, the scissor lift is the best aerial worker there is.
Diesel, electric or hybrid?
Holland Lift was the first to introduce a hybrid scissor lift: an economical diesel engine for outdoor work and an emission-free, exhaust-free electric motor for indoor use. As well as hybrid models, we have diesel-engine scissor lifts and fully electric-drive options, too. Our electric-drive lifts come in two variants: electric drive for indoors and electric scissor lifts for indoors and outdoors. Discover your options using the lift picker above.
Model names explained
Working height, machine width and Drive Type are the ingredients of our model names, for example:
HL-220 H25
HL – Holland Lift
220 – working height in dm
H – Hybrid Drive. E(lectric) or D(iesel).
25 – machine width in dm
All Diesel models shown on this website are suiteable for outdoor usage and have been equipped with 4-wheel drive, oscillating axle and jacks to facilitate the negotiation of unpaved roads. The HL-340 D30 does not incorporate an oscillating axle, being the only exception. Originally, machines with electric drive were meant for indoor usage. Since then, we have created a whole range of electrical machines for both indoor- and outdoor usage by adding jacks (N), or even with a combination of jacks, oscillating axle and 4-wheeldrive (RT). We choose to add this separately to the model name here.
Tracked scissor lifts and scissor lifts for rough terrain
Are you specifically looking for a:
- tracked scissor lift or a
- scissor lift for rough terrain?
Our outdoor scissor lifts are available as all-wheel drive with a pendulum axle or as weight-spreading tracked versions, for use on softer ground. This makes almost every kind of ground accessible. Several models also feature four-wheel steering. Discover your options using the lift picker above.
Finally
Our scissor lifts can reach up to 33.5 meters. Of course, not everyone needs to reach those lofty heights. Are you looking for:
- an 8-meter scissor lift
- a 10-meter scissor lift, or
- a 12-meter scissor lift?
Then a scissor lift with a maximum working height of 15.5 meters has you covered. It’s our lowest-reaching model and ideal for going to heights of 6, 10 and 12 meters.
